"Woodridge School District 68 in Woodridge, Illinois, hosted the first Illinois users meeting in January(2001). As is the case with almost all of the Illinois users, we are in our first school year with Sirs. Our district has six elementary schools and one junior high with an approximate enrollment of 3,500 students. We have previously attended many user meetings for various products, but found this one to be among the very best. What set it apart from others was the fact that it really was a “users” meeting. We were able to share our concerns, problems, and suggestions with other users and with the key people from MIG in a very informal manner. We were able to speak our minds freely and openly, and MIG listened. All of our concerns and suggestions were documented, and solutions to these issues are already being implemented. Since MIG is new to Illinois, we have different state requirements regarding attendance, transportation, and other state-required reports. Time is of the essence in getting these reports up to code in a timely manner. Since all of the Illinois school districts are essentially new users, you can imagine that we have a lot of concerns. Speaking for Woodridge School District 68, we can sincerely state that MIG is doing everything imaginable to ease our pain through this process. They are accomplishing this due to the fact that they have such helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, and most of all, patient employees and trainers. Our district, in particular, can be very demanding; we know what we want and how we want it, and MIG has been able to accommodate us. This seems to be the consensus of the other Illinois users as well."
